Is anyone else disappointed with the HK audio in the SX?

I have been trying to get my audio settings in my SX worked out but to no avail. No matter what I do, vocals and midrange is muddled and the soundstage just isn't right. I'm loading up a USB with FLACs so there's no lossy compression that can be causing the issue. I've tried turning QLS on and off, bass boost off - nothing improves the clarity of the vocals.
